Let's get to know more about Ms. Jasmine! She is really cute and kind person! She loves GREEN color! And you?

The passion led me to choose my career

Hi, everyone! My name is Wenjie Wang, but feel free to call me Ms. Jasmine. I came to the US as an Au Pair several years ago and took care of a baby boy from the time he was just one month old. After two years, I got married and have been taking care of my niece, who is now in 1st grade. Through my time caring for children, I discovered my passion for a career in childcare. That's why I decided to open a childcare center where I can work with kids and hear the sound of their laughter every single day.

As a positive and energetic person, I also love engaging in hobbies such as handcrafts, traveling, and cooking. These interests not only bring me joy, but they also inspire me to share my passions with children. By bringing these interests into the classroom, I hope to spark a sense of excitement and curiosity in my students. Above all, I want to inspire children to be confident in their abilities and to never stop pursuing their dreams.

Hobbies have made my life better

Here, please allow me to talk a little bit about my hobbies. This is my favourite part! I am fond of dancing and it is an integral part of my life. I have experience in many different types of dance, including Classical Chinese Dance, Garba, Zumba, Salsa, ChaCha and Colombian Dance

I am excited to bring my passion for movement and rhythm into my childcare curriculum.  I believe that exposure to diverse styles of dance can enhance children's physical coordination, self-expression, and cultural understanding. By including dance in my curriculum, I hope to foster a love of movement in my students that will stay with them for years to come.

From my experience, I would say that to instill in children the value of perseverance and the importance of never giving up on the things they love. I believe that it is important for children to pursue their passions, no matter how difficult the path may seem. By fostering a growth mindset and encouraging a willingness to learn from mistakes, I hope to inspire my students to embrace challenges and to persist in the face of adversity. By teaching children to never give up on their dreams, I hope to empower them to reach their full potential and to lead fulfilling lives.

About Culture

I having been exposed to both Indian and Chinese culture, I have developed a deep appreciation and respect for the traditions, beliefs, and values of different cultures. I understand that each child comes from a unique background and has their own experiences and traditions that are important to them. As an educator, I am committed to promoting cultural awareness and understanding among the children that I work with. I believe that learning about different cultures can broaden our horizons and help us develop a greater sense of empathy and respect for others. I am excited to bring my own experiences and knowledge of Indian and Chinese culture into the classroom, while also learning from and celebrating the cultures of my students and their families. By creating an environment that values and respects diversity, I hope to inspire my students to embrace their own cultural backgrounds, while also learning to appreciate and celebrate the cultures of their peers.

Last but not the least,

Thanks to my Family

I think I should leave this part for my family. They have been supporting me throughout my journey. Their love and encouragement have given me the strength and determination to face the challenges that come with being a childcare provider.

My parents have been my biggest supporters and have always encouraged me to pursue my dreams. They raised me with a lot of effort, love, and sacrifice, teaching me to be a caring and kind person. I am grateful for the values that they have instilled in me, such as hard work, kindness, and compassion. Their unwavering love and support have given me the confidence to pursue my passions and to become the person that I am today. I am determined to bring all this inspiration to my teaching and to all the kids that I work with. I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful family, and I will continue to work hard to make them proud.

As an educator, I believe it is important to teach children to be grateful and appreciate the little things in life. I encourage them to express their appreciation to others, whether it be a classmate who helped them with a task or a family member who cooked them a meal. By fostering a sense of gratitude, children can develop a positive outlook on life and learn to find joy in the simple things. By teaching children to be grateful and appreciate the world around them, they can grow up to become kind, compassionate individuals who make a positive impact in their communities.
